STUDENTS are set to demonstration over increasing real estate costs which they say are significant to more people selecting to stay of school.

Durham University’s students partnership (DSU) has released a strategy against above-inflation improves to higher education real estate expenses, which it says are a “rip off”.

President Alice Dee said: “In the last few decades we’ve seen reduces in students looking to come back to higher education and you can’t individual that from the fact that the price has gone up quite a lot.

The most affordable options at school colleges and universities for the next educational season have been promoted as £6,940 for focused real estate and £4,891 for self-catered areas.

At Newcastle University the lowest cost focused areas are £5,064.15, while at Northumbria they are £4,368 and You are able to are £5,664.

According to research done by the DSU, in its research of 12 colleges and universities, Durham’s low-end real estate was the maximum cost this season.
